Dan Lusk

August 12, 1961 to September 15, 2016

Dan Lusk, beloved Choir Director for Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, was born August 12, 1961, in Long Beach, CA.  Dan fell asleep in the Lord on September 15, 2016, at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, CA.

Dan spent his early life in Long Beach before moving to Lancaster in 1987. Dan worked at Motion Industries in the Antelope Valley for 30 years. Dan loved local theater and had fond memories of the many shows in which he participated.

Dan became an Orthodox Christian as an adult.  He began singing in the choir and then devoted the next 25 years serving as Choir Director at our little Parish, Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Lancaster, CA.

Dan will be remembered for his smile and his beautiful singing voice. He will be missed dearly by all of his family and friends.

A forty-day memorial will be held for Dan on October 30, 2016. At this time the Archbishop’s Years of Service Award will be presented posthumously commemorating the twenty-five years Dan served as choir director to our parish.

May his memory be eternal!
